Cougar Connectors are student leaders who help new students prepare, connect, navigate, and belong as they begin their SIUE experience. Through New Student and Family Programs, Cougar Connectors welcome new students, share their experiences, connect students with resources and help build a sense of belonging at SIUE.

Orientation Leaders
Be one of the first faces of SIUE.
Orientation Leaders welcome incoming students and their supporters during New Student Orientation and help them prepare for their transition to SIUE.

FST Mentors
Support students beyond their first few days.
First Semester Transition (FST) Mentors help new students navigate their first semester at SIUE by providing peer support, encouragement and connections to campus resources.
