About New Student and Family Programs
New Student and Family Programs supports incoming students and their supporters throughout the transition to SIUE. From preparing to enroll through the first year, we coordinate programs, resources, and experiences that help new Cougars successfully begin their SIUE journey.
Our goal is to help every new Cougar prepare, connect, navigate, and belong at SIUE.
How We Support New Cougars
Our team coordinates New Student Orientation, new student onboarding and transition, Welcome Weekend, family and supporter engagement, and transition programs for first-year and transfer students, including international students.
We work across the University to create a coordinate new student experience and connect students and their supporters with the people, resources, and opportunities they need to start strong at SIUE.
