Upward Bound EC/MLC
Upward Bound EC/MLC is a college-preparatory program designed to serve low-income and/or potential first-generation college students who are currently in grades 9-12.
Who We Serve
SIUE TRIO Upward Bound serves high school students in the following school districts: Brooklyn, East St. Louis Charter School, and Madison.
Eligible students must:
- - Demonstrate financial need
- - Be a first-generation college student or low-income student.
- - Be between 13 and 19 years of age and enrolled in grades 9-12
- - Have a minimum of a 3.0 GPA
Program Hours
During the school year:
Monday-Thursday
3:30-5:30 p.m.
1st and 3rd Saturday of the month
9 a.m.-1 p.m.
Six-week Summer Program is also offered at the East St. Louis Center from 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
