Undergraduate Scholars Showcase, April 28

It’s time again for the SIUE Undergraduate Scholars Showcase. You are invited to learn about the outstanding work SIUE’s undergraduates have accomplished in their major programs.

2-4 p.m., with a reception following
Thursday, April 28
Morris University Center

The Undergraduate Scholars Showcase is our annual opportunity to highlight the depth and variety of learning experiences offered by SIUE’s Senior Assignment program and the Undergraduate Research and Creative Activities (URCA) program.

Each academic unit demonstrates the best of what the University's undergraduates have mastered. Each department and program nominates two outstanding senior assignment projects to be presented at the Undergraduate Scholars Showcase. In keeping with the spirit of last year’s event, URCA associates and assistants will be displaying their presentations as well.

Each participant will receive a certificate of achievement and will be honored at a closing reception. This growing event allows students, faculty and community members an opportunity to celebrate learning and our students’ accomplishments.

For more information, contact Erin Behnen at 650-3639 or etimpe@siue.edu.

End of Semester Blackboard Tips for Faculty

The following are suggested end-of-semester activities for faculty using Blackboard. Please contact ITS for questions or assistance at 618-650-5500.

SIUE Suzuki Program Offers String Lessons and Camp

The SIUE Suzuki program has several opportunities for string players this summer! You do not need to be a current SIUE Suzuki program student to participate in either of these.

Summer String Lessons: We offer a six-week summer lesson session, open to anybody, even adults, whether or not you already have playing experience. Summer lessons can help prevent that notorious summer learning loss.

Prices and registration details are available here.

Summer String Camp: We would love to have your string-playing child join us for four days of camp this July 19-22!

All string camp details and registration are available here.

For more information on any of our programs call 650-2839 or email suzukiprogram@siue.edu.
