SIUE Adds LaRanda Parnacher Turner to Human Resources Team
LaRanda Parnacher Turner joined Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s human resources department as assistant director of Talent and Development on January 16. Parnacher Turner is an experienced recruitment marketing and talent development executive, as well as a leading consultant in marketing tailored to tribal communities.
“I am excited to welcome someone of LaRanda’s caliber to the HR leadership team and the SIUE community,” said Carl Chambers, Director of Human Resources. “LaRanda’s subject matter expertise in compliance, digital marketing, and learning and development speaks volumes on the value-adds she will contribute as the new Assistant Director of Talent Acquisition and Development.”
Parnacher Turner most recently served as the assistant director of marketing for Arts & Sciences at Washington University in St. Louis. She has more than 17 years of experience in branding and media strategies across diverse industries. In the area of employer branding, she worked to enhance operational efficiency by conducting comprehensive training sessions to optimize recruitment and onboarding processes.
Parnacher (Chickasaw) is the owner of Anoli Consulting LLC, a private marketing consulting firm that specializes in developing processes tailored to tribal communities while ensuring compliance with tribal and government regulations.
Parnacher Turner has a bachelor's degree in business administration from Quincy University and a master's degree in digital marketing from Arizona State University.
