Step 1: Confirm Your Enrollment
Get started by confirming your enrollment. Pay the non-refundable $190 enrollment fee to kick off your journey with us.
Step 2: Schedule Your Advising Appointment
After confirming enrollment, reach out to the Advising Office at advising@siue.edu to schedule your advising appointment. Remember, placement tests (if needed) must be completed before your advising session. Watch for an email to your SIUE inbox if placement tests are required.
Step 3: Access the Self-Paced Orientation Program
Upon submitting your enrollment deposit, you will gain access to the module. Dive into our online Self-Paced Orientation Program, where interactive modules await to help you prepare for an outstanding first-year experience. Complete these modules at your own pace and revisit them whenever it fits your schedule.
Step 4: Placement Tests (if required)
Certain students may need to take placement tests in math, reading, writing, chemistry or physics. Keep an eye out for an email from SIUE Testing Services with all the details.
Remember, these tests are free and should be wrapped up no later than one week before you scheduled advising appointment.
