Reserve a Group Study Room
SIUE students, faculty and staff may reserve group study rooms in Lovejoy Library for academic use for a maximum of three hours per day.
Make a Room ReservationRoom Reservation Policies
- Groups of two or more may reserve a project room for up to three hours per day.
- Priority is given to groups of two or more who have made reservations in advance.
- Groups with reservations must have their reservation confirmation readily available.
- Users without reservations must leave rooms when those with reservations are ready to use them.
- Users have 15 minutes to claim their reserved room; after 15 minutes, the reservation will be canceled, and the room will become available.
- Facilities staff must be allowed access the room to clean.
- Users may not reserve rooms by placing personal belongings or library materials in them; such items will be moved to the Library Circulation Desk on the first floor of Lovejoy Library.
Collaborative Table Policies
- All tables are located on the first floor of Lovejoy Library
- Tables 1 through 6 can be reserved online.
- Tables 7 and 8 are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Reservations can be made for up to 3 hours maximum, one table per person, per day
- Tables accommodate up to 5 individuals with monitors that provide laptop or device connection wirelessly or wired.
- Laptops can be checked-out on the first floor, or connect with your own device.
- Patrons sitting at tables 1 through 6 without a reservation may be asked to move if the table is reserved by another user.
