Welcome to the Graduate School Research Symposium website! This annual spring event celebrates and showcases the variety of research and creative activities taking place at SIUE. All are welcome to attend.

The Graduate School Student Research Symposium allows us to celebrate the excellent faculty and graduate student research happening on the SIUE campus. Please come and join us as we celebrate their accomplishments together! Students are invited to participate in the symposium by presenting their research to fellow students and faculty. This could be presented in many different ways, including posters, music, art, sculpture, dance, and technology.

Provost's Celebration of Research Reception

Tuesday, March 31, 2026 at 2:00pm

Morris University Center 2nd Floor Conference Center

The Provosts Celebration of Research Reception is an event that honors the awardees for the Representing Research Impacts Award, the Vaughnie J. Lindsay New Investigator Award, the Distinguished Research Professor Award, and the Hoppe Research Professor Award. Faculty and staff who submitted external grants in the previous year as a first time PI, along with patent recipients, will also be recognized.
