Qualifications

Applicants must have: Superior writing, editing, and design skills. Knowledge of and adherence to AP style. Proficiency in Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, Canva, and social media platforms. Possess excellent verbal communication skills. Be available and flexible to work some evenings and weekends for various events. Have a desire to gain hands-on experience across a variety of professional settings and functions. Must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be a creative thinker who takes initiative in generating new ideas and approaches. Must maintain confidentiality with sensitive information related to donors and students.

Position Description

Duties include: Support communications efforts across various platforms including social media, press releases, etc. Assist with event planning and execution for various School of Business events. Support student organization and advisory board activities. Collaborate with faculty, staff, and students on various projects and initiatives. Contribute ideas and provide general assistance for special projects and other duties as they may arise and be assigned by the School of Business Dean's Office.
