Student Organization Crowdfunding
All Student Organizations that are properly registered with the Kimmel Belonging and Engagement Hub (K-Hub) and in good standing with the University qualify to apply for a Crowdfunding Project. Before applying, your Student Organization should decide who should serve as the Crowdfunding Project Leader.
What is a Crowdfunding Project Leader?
A Crowdfunding Project Leader is responsible for:
- Serving as the main contact for your Student Organization’s Crowdfunding Project.
- Completing the SIUE Foundation Crowdfunding Application on behalf of your Student Organization.
- Reviewing/following ALL SIUE Foundation Policies including all SIUEF Crowdfunding Program Guidelines, SIUE Branding/Licensing guidelines, and SIUE Policies & Procedures.
- Collaborating with the SIUE Foundation and the Kimmel Belonging and Engagement Hub (K-Hub) to successfully implement our Crowdfunding Project.
- Collaborating with my Student Organization to develop a Crowdfunding Committee to successfully implement and assist in our Crowdfunding Project.
- Ensuring that all funds raised are used only for the approved purpose(s) outlined in our Crowdfunding Application and/or in accordance with the SIUE Foundation Allowable Use of Funds Policy.
Serving as a Project Leader is also a unique opportunity to build leadership skills, gain hands-on fundraising experience, and make a lasting impact for your organization. Many leaders find this role helps them grow professionally while strengthening their student organization.
