This short verification video gives an overview of the verification process, including what verification is, what documents may be required, and how to submit the documents.
2023-2024 Verification Forms are for anyone who filed the 2324 FAFSA between October 1, 2022-June 30, 2023, for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP)
2023-2024 SAP Appeals Forms are to be used when a student’s financial aid has been terminated for GPA (less than 2.0), Completion Rate (less than 67.0%), or maximum hours (over 150% of published program length). There are deadlines for submission of new SAP Appeals each semester – see www.siue.edu/sap for these deadline dates and more explanation about Satisfactory Academic Progress.
