Annual Student Design Presentation of SIUE ASME Student Organization in St. Louis

Last Saturday (1/27/18), several members of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers organization at SIUE went to the Annual Student Design Presentation with the St. Louis chapter of ASME. This meeting included networking with engineering members along with updates of the student sections and the professional chapter. The SIUE team presented the design and progress report of their recumbent style bike for the Human Powered Vehicle Challenge that will participate in competition in April. The SIUE team was able to to showcase their bike and receive some good feedback. The presentation went very well along with the other schools that came to present - Washington University, Saint Louis University, and Missouri University of Science and Technology. The ASME St. Louis Chapter generously donated $500 to each student chapter, which helps the club's budget significantly.
