HVAC Training for Nidec Engineering

Dr. Serdar Celik and the ME department want to share the good news about the HVAC Certificate Training given for Nidec Engineers which was offered on March 11, 2019! The event went very well. During the 3 hour lecture series on HVAC systems and basics of heat transfer, of which there were 13 attendees, topics covered the basics of HVAC systems and heat transfer. The last lecture hour covered a case study where cooling of an electric motor was explained employing relevant heat transfer equations. With Nidec being an electric motor manufacturer, this is one of the topics that they conduct research on. The topics were selected and tailored by Dr. Celik per the participants suggestions and feedback before the program.
