Job Description/Responsibilities
The SIU School of Dental Medicine is accepting resume packages for part-time, term, non-tenure track faculty position openings for the 2023-2024 academic year. This listing does not represent an actual vacancy; rather open recruitment allows interested persons to submit materials for future vacancies within the School of Dental Medicine. These non-tenure track faculty positions may be in the following departments: Applied Dental Medicine; Sections of Endodontics, Diagnostic Sciences, Oral/Maxillofacial Surgery and Periodontology; Growth, Development & Structure; Sections of DAU/Practice Management, Behavioral Science, Orthodontics and Pediatric Dentistry; Restorative Dentistry; Sections of Fixed and Removable Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry; and Graduate Education. Responsibilities include providing instruction and clinical supervision for pre-doctoral and/or postdoctoral School of Dental Medicine students.

Minimum Qualifications
D.D.S. or D.M.D. degree is required. A teaching or permanent license to practice dentistry in the state of Illinois is required. Prior dental teaching experience and/or advanced training desirable.
