Job Description/Responsibilities
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE) is accepting applications for a Full-time, tenure or clinical track position in the Department of Restorative Dentistry, Section of Prosthodontics. Responsibilities include didactic and clinical teaching in the pre-doctoral program and service to the University. For tenure track appointments independent research and scholarly activity is also expected. Working in collaboration with other faculty, both in research and teaching, is strongly encouraged. Intramural/extramural faculty practice is available.
Minimum Qualifications
- Applicants are required to have D.M.D. or D.D.S. degree from a CODA accredited dental school.
- Must be able to meet the requirements for permanent or restricted faculty licensure in Illinois.
- Advanced education in Prosthodontics, board eligibility or certification, and demonstrated interest in teaching and research are desired.
- General dentists with demonstrated experience in prosthodontics will also be considered.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree.
