The Emeriti Faculty Association is another means of sustaining links to SIUE. Typically, twice a year, the Association schedules afternoon social events to provide opportunities to renew contacts with former colleagues in a relaxed atmosphere accompanied by good food and drink. These events are often attended by the Chancellor, who updates attendees on the state of the University. And the faculty who received funding through the Association provide an overview and update on their projects.
