Success Coaches
Our Success Coaches are knowledgeable, supportive staff members who work with students in both individual and group settings to learn, develop, and practice the strategies and habits needed to succeed in and beyond the classroom. Grounded in a culture of care, Success Coaches meet students where they are, building trusting relationships that begin with the very first visit and continue throughout their academic journey.
Through personalized guidance and intentional support, Success Coaches help students achieve their personal and professional goals while fostering confidence, accountability, and overall well-being.
Common areas Success Coaches support include:
- Time management
- Overcoming procrastination
- Developing effective study habits
- Accessing mental health services, learning support, classroom accommodations, and other student support resources
- Understanding course expectations
- Navigating campus resources
Success Coaches partner with students throughout their entire collegiate experience—supporting them through the excitement and challenges of college life. From easing the transition during the first weeks on campus to maintaining accountability in the final weeks before graduation, we are committed to supporting students’ holistic growth at SIUE through a culture of care.
