LEGAL SPEAKERS SERIES 2012-2013

SPEAKERS FOR SPRING 2013!!!!!

NEW!!!  Save the Date!!!!  SIUE is sponsoring a Pre-Law Day on Thursday, March 21, 2013!  Five law schools from Illinois and Missouri have been invited!  You can talk with them at their table in the Goshen Lounge from 10:00 - 12:30, or consider having "Lunch with the Reps" for informal discussion from 12:30-1:30.  More information to come!!!!

SCHOOLS ATTENDING WILL BE SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY; WASHINGTON UNIVERSITY; INDIANA TECH; SOUTHERN ILLINOIS UNIVERSITY CARBONDALE; AND UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI - KANSAS CITY!

SIUE Pre-Law Day is also co-sponsored with Student Legal Services, Criminal Justice Club, and the Political Science Association! 

SPEAKERS FOR SPRING 2013!!!!!

Pre-Law Association meetings are always the first Tuesday of the Month.  The next meeting is Tuesday April 2 at 5:00 in the Student Success Center!  THIS IS ELECTIONS NIGHT, so come prepared to select next year's officers.  We will also have Bill Clutter, who does private investiagations and works with the Innocence Project, as our guest speaker.  All are welcome!!!

On March 18, 2013, we will host Amy Gabriel, J.D., Assistant State's Attorney for Madison County.  She will speak at 6:00 p.m. on the Role of the State's Attorney's Office in Criminal Prosecution.  THIS IS IN ROOM 1203 AT THE STUDENT SUCCESS CENTER!

Pre-Law Association will also be a sponsor of a presentation on Human Trafficking by the U.S. Attorney's Office, Southern District of IL, on MONDAY, MARCH 25, 2013, AT 6:00 P.M.  This will be in the Hickory/Hackberry Room.  Our speaker is Monica Stump.     All are welcome!!!

WE ANTICIPATE THAT our March 18 and March 25 PRESENTATIONS IN THE LEGAL SPEAKERS SERIES ARE CO-SPONSORED BY STUDENT LEGAL SERVICES.
