Current Research Projects:
1) Research and development for the analysis of veterinary thermographic images for clinical diagnosis. This includes: Chiari malformation (COMS), Intervertebral Disc Disease (IVDD), Cranial Cruciate Ligament Tears of Stifles and post-operative rehabilitation.
2) Research and development for the analysis of veterinary thermographic images for establishing norms.
3) The development of an image processing Algorithm Test and Analysis Tool, CVIP-ATAT, funded by SIUE through FUR, SRF, Long Island Veterinary Specialists (LIVS)
4) The development of a computer vision Feature Extraction and Pattern Classification Tool, CVIP-FEPC, funded by SIUE and LIVS
5) The development of a computer vision system for the automatic diagnosis of skin tumors. This project has been funded by the National Institute of Health, SIUE, and Stoecker and Associates.
