About Me

 Background

Hi, growing up I was always fascinated with all things Disney. I’ve been to Disney World twice and I still have my autograph books from the different characters. I graduated from High School in 2018 and that is when I enrolled at Southern Illinois University-Edwardsville. I started out as a Theater Performance Major, but I changed to a Mass Communication Major, Production. I am currently a Junior; I anticipate graduating in December of 2022. I am looking forward to pursuing my career. I am enjoying my time at SIUE.

COVID 19

The shutdown was hard, but I know we are slowly but surely backing our way back to some since of normalcy. However, I must say I did enjoy spending time with family daily. I am a Christian and I attend Fresh Winds Christian Church, and my Pastor came up with many invented ways for our congregation to meet and gather. We have Parking Lot service and that has been wonderful. We meet on the lot in our cars while he has things set-up on the lot to deliver the service. We had a huge movie screen set up on the parking lot so we could have Movie nights, which turned out great, you could sit in your cars, or sit out on the lot.

Things I Enjoy

I enjoy singing in the choir, or just singing period. In High school I was on the Cross-Country team for 3 years. I enjoyed the excitement of running and being with my teammates. We cheered each other on as we ran and encouraged each other to finish the race. Running XC gave me the ability to focus, and it calmed me. Also, during this time I ran in the “Go St. Louis Marathon, I ran the relay portion of the race, I enjoyed that race and the thrill of coming across the finish line with the other relay runners on my team. Another thing I did in High School was to participate in the school plays, I had a part in Jesus Christ Superstar and The Little Mermaid, I also had a part in the One Acts Plays. When I started at SIUE I audition for a few plays, but never received a major part; however, I did work as a crew member for the production of “Chicago”. I love music theater and I love all genre of music.
