Golfer's Paradise has 72-acres of beautiful outdoor scenery. Our grounds crew takes pride in keeping the courses manicured to their full potential. We staff ove 100 crew members that control the golf course daily.
About 2 years ago, a very destructive tornado hit our facility pretty badly. Our grounds crew as well as severeal volunteer members worked around the clock for several months to get the course back to its original state.
We are very fortunate to have the members and employees we do to keep our course going each and every day.

The 2009 tornado hit the evening of August 5th. We hosted a large course event earlier that day so we were lucky to not have an event in attendence when the tornado arrived.
There was a large amount damage done to the property. We unfortunately lost over 150 oak tree as well as two of our main cart sheds. Several members had severe damage property damage on their golf carts.
Several powerline were cut when the tornado passed through the property. The following day we had several volunteers from the community offer help to clean up the tree damage as well as damage done to the clubhouse.
We were extremely lucky for the small amount of damage done to the clubhouse as that would have put us out of complete comission.
We would like to give thanks to the hundreds of people that came to Golfer's Paradise and put it back to its beautiful state.
We will be hosting a benefit to raise money to help rebuild a new and much larger cart shed that we lost in the tornado. This sheld will be able to house over 180 member carts.
The benefit will take place in the Banquet hall that overlooks hole number 18. We will have several bands throughout the day and we invite you to join in on the fun and stop by for dinner, raffles, and greet fellow members.
Tickets are being sold now in the Pro Shop. Tickets will be $20.00 per person and will allow you admission throughout the day. Come enjoy great food and good spirits.
