you finding it hard to work in a class to finish a second endorsement
area, you might consider checking out the proficiencies offered on campus.
They cost nothing and will not affect your GPA in any way, unless you
receive an A or B on the proficiency. For a list of possible

Some interesting information for teacher education students: Scholarships: “New this year to the volunteer services program is an Americorps scholarship for students. The School of Education, Office of Social and Cultural Diversity, and the Student Leadership Development Program have received an Americorps grant for freshman and transfer students to perform 300 hours of volunteer services with non-profit or governmental agencies. Upon completion of the hours, the students receive a $1,000 education award.” Students wishing to obtain additional information should contact the Kimmel Leadership Center at x3472. |
