Lites Webpage
The LITES Webpage offers engaged learning units that correlate with the state standards. There are 3 ways to search for a unit of study: Illinois Learning Standard, Curriculum, and/or grade level. All the lesson plans follow a standard format for ease of use.

This is actually a search engine for educators. It has many ideas for elementary classrooms based on theme or content.

Kathy Schrock's Guide
Kathy Schrock's Guide for Educators is a categorized list of sites useful for enhancing curriculum and professional growth. It is updated often to include the best sites for teaching and learning.

Elementary Technology
This site was created by two Elementary Technology Facilitators to help K-6 teachers integrate technology into their curriculums. It is being added to regularly and contains links, lessons, and more.

CMS Web Pages
This site was created by 7th grade students for K-5 student use. Elementary classroom teachers asked the 7th graders to make curriculum-rich sites appropriate for elementary students.

Middle School Integrated Information Technology Curriculum Independent School District 196 Minnesota School District 196. They state in their goals that: "The purpose of public education is to help individuals acquire knowledge skills, and positive attitudes toward self and others that enable them to solve problems, think creatively, continue learning, and develop maximum potential for leading productive, fulfilling lives in a complex and changing society. Our students live in a world that is in the midst of the fourth information revolution. The fourth information revolution is digital, capitalizing on the individual's ability to acquire information. Digital technology will significantly alter the way in which our students gather information, analyze data, and draw conclusions. This technology will also change how people present, transmit, simulate, and describe various forms of data."

EDTech

EdTech "Educational Technology (formerly Instructional Technology Training), a division of Technology and Telecommunication Services, provides leadership and support for the integration of technology in curriculum and instruction. EdTech promotes the use of technology throughout the educational community to enhance achievement and productivity." This site provides Lesson Plan Templates which you can fill out for use in your weekly planning or get Lesson Ideas you can use with your students.

Integrating Technology into the Curriculum

Tips On Integrating Technology INTEGRATING TECHNOLOGY INTO THE CURRICULUM From the OYSTER RIVER SCHOOL DISTRICT There are ten tips for teachers on how to use technology in their own classrooms and their own curriculum. There is a section that sorts Curriculum Integration by Subject. They state for their teachers that: “Curriculum is the engine, technology is but one of the tools...”. They also have links for Special Education and ways to use technology in those classes. This site also contains Hardware and Software suggests for Special Needs students.

This page has the setup from a workshop that was given. There are exact templates to use in the teaching of technology in the curriculum.

NASAexplores

NASAexplores This site features two articles each week with supporting lesson plans for three levels of learning: K-4, 5-8 and 9-12. The projects are prepared by certified teachers, incorporate national educational standards in math, science, geography and technology. There are lessons, hand-outs, and teacher's notes included at each grade level. This really is an excellent site.

This site explains Nevada's Computer/Technology Educational Standards broken down by grade level and the following 6 areas: · problem solving · productivity tools · reseach tools · tools and processes · computer systems · implications on society
The site also addresses curriculum integration, has a great definition for technology and has a cool glossary of technology terms.

This is a sister site to the one above that gives preformance level descriptors by grade level and standards.

This site breaks down performance standards/indicators for technology literacy in the following grade divisions:

This site also has great technology standards articles and other useful stuff (lessons, etc).
