The history of Frosting Cupcakery will take us back a few years. Frosting Cupcakery was created a few years ago due to the high demand of sweet lovers in our family. Frosting was created by two best friends Mariah and Sydnei. The girls had been baking since they were 14 years old, before discovering that this was their passion. Later the business came to life one day inside of their home's in Chicago. Eventually the two girls traveled over 200 miles to the city of Edwardsville, Illinois to open a store front and expand.
Today, they have the same simple goal that they started with: serving delicious cupcakes. We bake our cupcakes fresh every day to provide our customers with the best tasting treats.
Majority of their recipes are from their grandmother's cookbooks that were passed down to them from generations. For some of the cupcake flavors such as Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and Key Lime pie those are our own creations.They are immensely proud of the Edwardsville storefront for surpassing this years opening goal.
