I'm kind of a film critic
Some of My favorite Films are John Hughes' films from the 1980's. Some of my favorites are Sixteen Candles, Pretty in Pink, and The Breakfast Club
Sixteen Candles (1984) This is one of my all-time films featuring Mollly Ringwald and Anthony Michael Hall. This movie focuses on Samantha, who has just turned 16. She feels unnoticed, especially by her family who forgot her birthday. This film features hunky hearthrob Jake Ryan, who doesn't seem to even notice Sam and Farmer Ted who can't keep his eyes off of her. From her sister's wedding to trying to be noticed, Sam has a lot on her plate including her grandparent's foreign exchange student, Long-Duck-Dong. Yes, that is his name.
The Breakfast Club (1985) You can't forget about this 80's classic! Featuring the brat pack this film centers around 5 high school students who are all spending their Saturday in detention. There's a popular girl, a jock, basket case, nerd, and the trouble maker who all clash and form a special bond throughout the day.
Pretty in Pink (1986) Poor girl Andie tries hard to fit in in high school, from the popular girls to her childhood friend Duckie who pines for her. A lot of this changes when rich kid, Blaine, walks into her life. This 80's classic features a fantastic soundtrack for a not so typical high school flick.
