Save the MUC

 

Construction begins April 15 on the Union Station in the Morris University Center at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. The store will be relocated upstairs in the MUC Gallery until the remodel is complete. Once it has been moved back downstairs the MUC Gallery will be converted into two new meeting rooms to add to the long list of conference rooms which can be found in the MUC and Student Success Center. This Gallery has housed countless pieces of work of students and faculty alike. A beautiful gallery was added to Art and Design West, but at the back of the campus it goes largely unnoticed by the general public and doesn't have quite as much area to display work unlike the MUC Gallery.

Please help the art community at SIUE keep this great asset. Sign the petition and let the MUC Administration and Student Affairs know how much the gallery means to the art community.
