For those of you who don't know me, my name is Angelina. I am a junior here at SIUE, majoring in Applied Communication Skills. I really enjoy Public Relations that is why this previous summer I had an internship with a PR logistics company. I absloutly loved it! My boss was amazing and even though it was only for three months I felt apart of their little family. I learned a lot at the internship. I learned what I did want to do in my future and what I knew I did not want to do in the Future.

When I am not working my head off, I do enjoy a lot of other lesisure things. One of my favorite things to do is try to new places. That might sound odd at first but its true! I either do this with my bestfriend, mom or boyfriend. We just look up something completely random and we will go try it out. After we kind of rate it along with the other food/dessert places we have tried. It is really fun and sometimes a culture shock. Another one of my favorite hobbies is to watch little league baseball and not in a creepy way, I go to watch my little cousins. I find it very relaxing to go watch these games and very interesting. Since I told you what I liked, I should tell you what I don't like, My pet peeves. I really only have two pet peeves. My first one is people who forget their friends when they get a significant other. I cannot stand those people because it is so easy to balance both those things. My second pet peeve is people who are not accepting of other cultures. I love learning about new cultures that I am not farmilar with and it shocks me when people can be so rude to not even want to for example try someone's family dish that may be new to you. 

My biggest Communication goal for the future is to work for the Make-a-wish Foundation. I would probably give an arm and a leg to work there but then I probably wouldn't be that helpful. Another goal I have is to open up my own event planning business. I would like to work for one first then get my shoe in the door, meet some people and rocket my own business.

I am very thankful for SIUe and my sorority for rewarding me with wonderful lifelong friends that have made me feel like SIUe is my home.
