SIUE offers proctoring services for distance education exams.  Before scheduling a proctored exam, Academic Testing must receive the exam details (format of test, time limit, deadline, etc.) from the institution in which the course is being taken.  Then, the proctor will confirm the ability to administer the exam.  Once this is done, the student will be emailed a link to the website to submit the $30 (per exam) distance education proctoring fee.  Once the fee has been received, the proctor will reach out to the student to schedule an appointment.  Testing hours typically start as early as 9 a.m., and testing must conclude by 4:15 p.m., Monday through Friday.  Academic Testing does need to receive both the test materials and proctoring fee at least 48 hours prior to the desired appointment time.
