SIUE String Development Camp
Violin, viola and cello students, parents and observers are welcome!
String Development Camp focuses on alternative styles with different classes offered daily. Join us for camp just in time to refresh your summer practice! A day at camp includes:
- Orchestra
- Chamber Music
- Electives
- Daily Recitals
- Private Lessons
- And more!
Please note: Students do not need to be Suzuki students to participate in our camp, but should be able to play at approximately a Suzuki book 2 level and above. Students must be able to read music.
When: Monday-Friday, July 12-16, 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
Ages/Grade Levels: Any violin, viola or cello student that can read music. The minimum requirement is reading in the keys of D and G, and at the Suzuki book 2 level and above.
Where: Dunham Hall, SIUE Campus
Camp Fee: $300

Additional Registration Information: Please review and complete the additional registration materials.
Completion of the registration packet includes submitting a playing sample (submitted via a YouTube link), so we can accurately place campers in chamber music groups and plan for performances.
