It's Not Too Late to Register for Fall 2020
Dear $SUBSCRIBER.FIRSTNAME,
Because we understand there are myriad ways in which the pandemic has resulted in financial hardship for our students, we are removing one barrier preventing you from continuing your educational goals. For Fall 2020 only, we have relaxed our Prior Balance restrictions and we are allowing you to register for fall classes beginning Saturday, August 15. You are still responsible for what you owe from past terms. However, you may now register for Fall 2020 provided all other registration requirements have been met and any other holds on your account have been cleared.
If you’ve not yet made an appointment with your academic advisor to discuss your enrollment plans and to clear your advisement hold for Fall 2020, please do so as soon as possible. Classes begin on Monday, August 24, 2020, and the sooner your schedule can be finalized the more prepared you’ll be for a successful semester.
As a reminder, here’s how to make payment:
- Go to siue.edu/bursar/pay-my-bill and select Student Login.
- Enter your e-ID and password.
- Your Account Balance and Installment Amount Due are displayed.
- Select Make Payment.
- Enter your payment amount and select Checkout.
- Select your payment method and select Continue Checkout.
- Verify the amount and payment method and select Submit Payment.
This one-time relaxation of registration restrictions for students with an active Prior Balance hold is meant to help you continue your academic pursuits during unprecedented circumstances that may have impacted your ability to pay prior term debts in full. Before you choose to register for fall, please consider whether accruing additional charges is the best course of action for your financial situation. Registering for classes while owing an outstanding balance incurs added debt for which you are financially responsible.
