2020-2021 Resident Assistant Applications Open

The 2020-2021 Resident Assistant (RA) application is now open. The RA application can be found online.

Optional Information Session Dates

  • Monday, November 18th at 5pm Woodland Hall MFR
  • Monday, December 2nd at 9pm Evergreen Hall MFR

RA Qualifications

  • Turn in a completed application by the appropriate deadline: Wednesday, December 4th, at 11:59 pm.
  • Have at least a 2.5 cumulative GPA by the time you assume the position (RAs are required to maintain a 2.5 GPA).
  • Cannot be graduating before May 2021.
  • Cannot be involved with a full-time internship/co-op, student teach, or enrolled in the School of Pharmacy program during the 2020-2021 academic year.
  • Have lived in University Housing for at least two full semesters by the time you would begin as an RA (summer is counted as a semester).
  • Be in good financial, academic, and behavioral conduct standing with the University.

As commencement season approaches, SIUE will be hosting some graduation celebrations to honor the accomplishments of our graduating undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who will earn their degree in Fall 2019. Please read the following information of details regarding the graduation celebrations:

Monday, December 2nd
Rainbow Graduation Celebration
MUC Oak/Redbud Room

The Rainbow Graduation Celebration is free and open to all LGBTQIA and Ally SIUE undergraduate, graduate and professional students Registration should be completed by Tuesday, November 26th at 4pm to be included in the event. Contact Kelly Jo Karnes for questions.

Black Graduation Celebration

Black Graduation Celebration is a pre-commencement celebration to honor African and African American SIUE undergraduate, graduate, and professional students. Registration should be completed by Tuesday, November 26th at 12pm to be included in the event. Contact Kelly Jo Karnes for questions.

Pharmacy Career Fair

Pharmacy Career Fair

Come out to the Pharmacy Career Fair from 12-3pm in the MUC Conference Center on Wednesday, November 20th. Professional attire required and don't forget to bring copies of your resume and Cougar Card! Some employers will be conducting on site interviews at the career fair and/or the next day! Visit the SIUE Career Development Center website for the list of attending employers at www.siue.edu/careerdevelopmentcenter/students/events.

Later that day, stop by for a “Meet and Greet” with representatives from multiple Residency Programs from 3:30-5pm at the School of Pharmacy Learning Center. Call the Career Development Center at 618-650-3708 with any questions.
