Monday, August 26th
Black Student Welcome
MUC Meridian Ballroom

Join the Office of the Chancellor, the Black Studies Program and Black Faculty and Staff Association for a fun reception to kick off the year! Come meet our new and returning students, network with SIUE faculty, staff and community members, and enjoy a great evening. Food and games provided. Please RSVP via your SIUE email here.

Tuesday, August 27th
Safe Zone LGBTQIA+ Student Welcome
MUC Hickory/Hackberry Room

Join Safe Zone and the Office for the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs for a fun reception to kick off the year! The primary purpose of this reception is to welcome new and continuing students, faculty and staff members who are members of our LGBTQIA+ community on campus. We invite all allies to attend and contribute to this effort. We will share the collective accomplishments of Safe Zone and its allies over the last year and will highlight what is to come.

Wednesday, August 28th
Asian Pacific Islander Student Welcome
Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion (CSDI)

Kick your school year off right by plugging into campus resources, meeting fellow students, and learning about involvement opportunities. Sponsored by the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion (CSDI) this event is open to all Asian Pacific Islander students, including incoming first-years, transfer students, and current students.

Veteran Student Welcome

Join the Office of Military and Veterans Services for a fun reception to kick off the year! The veteran and military-affiliated networking reception is a great opportunity to set yourself up for success at SIUE and talk with other student veterans. RSVP online or call 618-650-5425.

Latinx Student Welcome

Join the Center for Student Diversity and Inclusion (CSDI) for exciting event to welcome all Latinx students, including incoming first-years, transfer students, and current students back to campus. This event will connect students to resources available to them on and off campus, while providing an opportunity to meet other students.
