"Meaningful Mentorship"

In this session we will cover the basics of how to mentor, how to nurture effective mentorship relationships, and talk about personal experiences within mentorship. Are you seeking a full-time, internship, or co-op positions? Stop by the Spring Career Fair to network with employers about their opportunities on Wednesday, March 6th and Thursday, March 7th from 10am - 2pm in the Meridian Ballroom. 

Optional LinkedIn Professional Headshots from 12:30 - 1:30pm both days. Professional attire is required! Bring copies of your resume and your Cougar Card for registration at the event!  Don’t miss your chance to network with employers!  A list of attending employers can be found on the Career Development Center’s website.

The Newman Catholic Community will have Catholic mass for Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, March 6th at 12pm and 8pm at the Fuller Dome. All are welcome! Mass will conclude with enough time for students and faculty who have class at 1pm.

Nomination forms for the Kimmel Leadership Awards are now open! All nominations are due Friday, March 8th through their respective forms on GetInvolved. Winners for each award will be announced at the Kimmel Leadership Awards Ceremony on Monday, April 29th.

Get An Updated Cougar Card

Get An Updated Cougar Card

Stop by the Service Center (Rendleman Hall, Room 1309) during regular office hours (M-F, 8am - 5pm) to get an updated Cougar Card that includes phone numbers for Campus Police and Health/Counseling Services. These updated cards will only be available until Friday, March 8th.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs is seeking well-rounded students to participate in the development and implementation of the SIUE Experience Program as Cougar Guides. Cougar Guides will play a key role in the transition of new students by guiding and leading them through their first days at SIUE. Cougar Guides will have the opportunity to build relationships and interact with university staff and faculty, while leading a team of students beginning their SIUE journey. Individuals selected will serve as role models and mentors to incoming SIUE students, and will be responsible for making the SIUE Experience informative and fun for student participants.
