Sustained Dialogue

Wednesday, October 31st
4pm - 6pm
Bluff Hall, Multi-function Room

Hey SIUE Cougars!  SIUE is bringing back Sustained Dialogue and we want YOU to join us!

Sustained Dialogue is a way for our community to explore race, ethnicity, class, gender, sexual orientation, religion, age, ability status, and other topics that aren’t always easy to talk about in diverse groups. This 10-week program will transform you for the better through conversations to share not just your opinions, but also hear stories and life experiences behind others’ perspectives. We have created a learning space for open dialogue that makes it possible for students from different sides of an issue to learn the root causes of community problems and build relationships to address these issues with new allies.

The incentives for participating include:

  • A Free Sustained Dialogue t-shirt
  • $$$ in Cougar bucks for completion of the program
  • Free food throughout the 10-week program
  • A chance to make an impact on the SIUE community and shape a changing world!

Space for the program is extremely limited and only 120 students will be accepted on a first come, first served basis. If this sounds like the perfect opportunity for you, please join us for an information session to learn more about the program.

For any questions, please email Tarsha Moore: tarmoor@siue.edu or Tionna Hunter: tiohunt@siue.edu
