Grab your friend and roommate and join CAB as they bring out the second comedian of the Just 4 Laughs on October 9, 2018 at 7pm in the Meridian Ballroom!! Monroe Martin made his TV debut in 2014 on the NBC’s Last Comic Standing, where he made it to the top 10. This a FREE event, so join CAB for a night of fun and laughter!

An Alternative Spring Break trip is available to students who wish to serve communities outside of their own during spring break. These overnight trips provide students with a unique and fulfilling volunteer experience bringing together service and civic engagement, reflection, and development of leadership skills. The theater department of SIUE begins its 2018-2019 Main Season with D.W. Gregory’s Radium Girls. In 1926 radium was a miracle cure, Madame Curie an international celebrity, and luminous watches were the latest rage – until the girls who painted them began to fall ill with a mysterious disease. Inspired by a true story and written with warmth and humor, Radium Girls is a fast-moving, highly theatrical ensemble piece that offers a wry, unflinching look at the peculiarly American obsessions with health, wealth, and the commercialization of science. ACCESS, New Horizons, Sociology Club, Gay Straight Alliance, Asian American Association, Student Government, International Student Council and Hispanic Student Union are coming together to celebrate Disability Awareness Month! All students, faculty, staff and community members are invited to come and celebrate their Spoken Word Night at the Goshen Lounge. Anyone can sign up at the event to perform songs, poetry, stories or parts of their memoir. This will be a space where people can share who they are and celebrate all the intersecting identities and experiences in their lives that are important and make them who they are!
