The SIUE Student Government will be sponsoring their 3^rd Annual Veteran's Day Luncheon.  Student Government would like to invite all current active duty military and veteran students, faculty, staff and retirees to attend this luncheon.  The event will include a fully catered lunch and keynote speaker.  We ask that all military and veterans RSVP to attend, no later than Monday, November 6^th at Noon.  This event is free to all active duty and veterans as a token of our thank you for your service.  However, space is limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.  Register to attend HERE!  If you have any specific food issues, please let Ethan Massey with Student Government know via e-mail at emassey@siue.edu.

Big Mike Aguirre and the Blu City All Stars will kick off the Edwardsville Parks Department's Winter Concert Series. Playing the music of the Mississippi River: St. Louis Blues, Memphis Soul, New Orleans Funk & everything in between. Big Mike Aguirre honed his guitar skills on the east and north side of St. Louis surrounded by the St. Louis blues masters who were generations his senior. Accompanied by The Blu City All Stars, they are considered among the top rank of St. Louis blues musicians.  Tickets are $9 and $14 and can be purchased at www.wildeytheatre.com
