Students for Justice in Palestine - The Separation Wall

Students for Justice in Palestine - The Separation Wall

March 5, 2015
10am
Meridian Ballroom, Morris University Center

The Students for Justice in Palestine organization hopes to put up a miniature replication of the apartheid wall that not only separates Palestinians, but chokes their movement, cuts off their land, and serves as a daily reminder of their life under occupation. The event will give students the opportunity to approach a wall checkpoint and attempt to cross while being questioned by an Israeli Occupation Force soldier. This will simulate the real-life experience of Palestinians as they attempt to travel every day. It will also offer more general information about the Palestinian-Israeli conflict that is not shown in US media.
