The We Are One Diversity Speech Competition is an event to combine students’ passion for diversity and enhancement of public speaking skills.  Sponsored by the SIUE Speech Center, Kimmel Student Involvement Center, and Student Government, students participating submitted speeches to be performed during the competition.

Post Racial Comedy Tour

What is "post-racial?"  Is it a black president? A white rapper? A white sorority winning a historically black step challenge? With "The Post-Racial Comedy Tour," Christian Lander, the creator of the pop culture phenomenon Stuff White People Like, and Elon James White, the award-winning creator of This Week in Blackness, have the answers.  Each comedian gives a separate talk from their perspectives, and for the finale join together on stage to answer any question that comes from the audience.

This event is FREE for students, just bring your Cougar ID card!
