SIUE's Safe Zone, sponsored by the Office of the Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs, will host a booth at PrideFest 2019 to support the community and tell visitors about the great things at our University.

We need volunteers to staff our booth and help give away spin-the-wheel prizes. This is a fun event, and the energy at the festival is exciting and positive.

We also invite you to represent SIUE by walking with us during the parade from 12-2 p.m. Sunday, June 30. We also will staff a float in the parade this year.

We’ll slither like snakes, pounce like leopards, encounter tiny tree frogs and enormous elephants, and visit amazing habitats that are high and low, hot and cold, dry and rainy. Then, it’s time for the animals’ favorite activity, which they all do together. It’s the jungle hokey-pokey!
