Lynn Ellen Heidinger-Brown, of Edwardsville, died Monday, June 1 at her residence. She was 73.
A North Arlington, N.J. native, Heidinger-Brown joined SIUE in 1976 as a faculty member in the English department. She later moved into the Department of Continuing Education and retired in 2007 as its director, developing innovative programming for faculty, students and the community. She was also an alumna of Edwardsville High School.
A private family graveside service is set for Sunset Hills Memorial Estates. Weber & Rodney Funeral Home is managing the arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the St. Louis Guitar Society or the American Parkinson Disease Association.
