Edward Florian, of Columbia, Ill., died Saturday, May 30. He was 49.
Florian was the first building mechanic hired for the new SIUE East St. Louis Center campus when it opened in the early 2000s.
Visitation is Monday, June 8 from 4-8 p.m. at Kutis Affton Chapel at 10151 Gravois Rd. in Affton, Mo. The funeral follows Tuesday, June 9 at 9:30 a.m. from the Kutis Affton Chapel to St. Matthias Catholic Church for 10 a.m. mass.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Corp. Donald Marler Memorial Marine Scholarship Foundation.
