Tyrone Cavitt, of Belleville, died Friday, August 7 in Belleville. He was 74.
Cavitt began working with the SIUE Head Start/Early Head Start Program on Sept. 22, 1983. He retired on Aug. 31, 2012.
Arrangements were handled by Serenity Memorial Chapel in Cahokia and Belleville.
