On November 9, the SIU School of Dental Medicine (SIU SDM) offered free comprehensive dental care to area veterans in honor of Veteran’s Day. During SIU SDM Veteran’s Care Day, third and fourth-year dental students performed exams, cleanings and 84 teeth extractions while treating a total of 88 veterans.
