SIUE to Honor Graduates During Fall Commencement, Dec. 16-17
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville will host its 2022 Fall Commencement exercises for more than 1,400 eligible graduates on Friday and Saturday, Dec.16-17 in the First Community Arena in the Vadalabene Center on the Edwardsville campus.
The first of four ceremonies will be held at 2 p.m. Friday with the School of Nursing. Catherine Kerber, who is earning a bachelor’s in nursing, will serve as the student speaker. The Graduate School will honor graduates during a 5 p.m. ceremony with remarks from student speaker Natalie Casey, who is earning a master’s of public administration.
Ceremonies resume Saturday at 10 a.m. with graduates from the Schools of Business and Education, Health and Human Behavior (SEHHB). Sarah Hibbeler will share remarks as the student speaker representing the SEHHB. Hibbeler is receiving a bachelor’s in exercise science.
At 2 p.m., degrees will be conferred on graduates of the College of Arts and Sciences and School of Engineering. Kyle Wesolowski, who is earning a bachelor’s in construction management, will represent his graduating class as the student speaker.
