SIUE’s Huang Named Outstanding Reviewer by Engineering Society
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Jianwei Huang, assistant professor of civil engineering, has been named a 2014 American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) Outstanding Reviewer. The achievement recognizes Huang’s service as a reviewer for the Journal of Bridge Engineering.
“I am proud of my services that allow me to contribute my expertise to the profession,” said Huang. “I feel honored to receive this award.”
Founded in 1852, ASCE is America's oldest national engineering society, representing more than 145,000 members of the civil engineering profession worldwide. Dr. Huang is a member of the esteemed organization and has served as a reviewer for the Journal of Bridge Engineering since 2012.
Huang has been a member of the SIUE School of Engineering faculty since 2012. His research interests include bridge engineering and advanced construction materials.
