SIUE’s Candace Hall, EdD, and the Documentary Screening on Black Futurity and Academic Life Featured iHeart Radio’s BIN
Southern Illinois University Edwardsville’s Candace N. Hall, EdD, is featured on the Black Information Network (BIN), an iHeartMedia channel, along with her March 19 documentary screening and exhibition, presented by the School of Education, Health and Human Behavior (SEHHB).
Reported by anchor Esther Dillard, the radio segment spotlights “Things We Imagined: Black Futurity and Academic Life,” a project by Hall and Charles H.F. Davis III, PhD, of the University of Michigan, that explores the experiences and future aspirations of Black faculty in higher education.
Hall, an SEHHB assistant professor and program director of Higher Education and Student Affairs, also shared the film’s broader tour schedule to additional cities.
