Why is Plagiarism Such a Big Deal?
Students who plagiarize will receive zero credit on the assignment submitted. Further, students may have their name submitted to the Dean of Student Affairs depending on the severity of the plagiarism case and the number of times the issue of plagiarism has been a problem for the student.
This means plagiarism could cause the student to be dismissed from the University prior to receiving a degree.
