International Housing
University Housing is excited to work with international students at SIUE. Our office works with both International Admissions and International Student and Scholars Services to assist international students with a successful transition to SIUE and provide an engaging environment within their housing community.
Housing Options
Students are eligible to live in different areas of University Housing based on their secondary school graduation date. Generally, students who have graduated secondary school within the last academic year are required to live in one of our first-year residence halls: Bluff, Prairie and Woodland Halls. Students living in Bluff, Prairie or Woodland Halls are required to purchase a residential meal plan. All other students, including graduate students, can apply to live in either Evergreen Hall or Cougar Village Apartments. Floor plans and amenity information is located on each of the housing community pages.
Students are required to bring their own personal belongings including, but not limited to, linens, cookware, clothing, electronics, bathroom and toiletry items, etc. For a complete list, please visit our What to Bring/What Not to Bring list.
