Health Sciences Complex
Projected Completion Date: Fall 2025
SIUE's newest academic building, the Health Sciences Complex, is a 172,495 square foot, in-progress capital improvement project that addresses the needs for new and updated academic healthcare facilities for the ever-expanding health sciences programs at SIUE.
The complex will be home to students and faculty in the School of Pharmacy and School of Nursing programs and will provide its users with modern classrooms, teaching/research laboratories, faculty offices, and student resource/study areas.
Additionally, the existing School of Nursing Simulation Laboratory will increase in size with the facility additions and updates that are being completed.
A newly-constructed, 3-story building of more 106,000 square feet will connect to the two existing School of Pharmacy buildings that are being renovated and expanded, as part of the overall project. A two-story atrium will act as a community hub between new and renovated construction and is the heart of the project.
The new, Health Sciences Complex is yet another example of SIUE's ongoing commitment to excellence by providing high-quality learning within and beyond the classroom to our students.
