Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
Strong working knowledge of US accounting and/or US tax laws
Acceptance into the SIUE MSA program
Competency in Excel and Word

Preferred Qualifications:
Teaching or tutoring experience
Practical accounting and/or tax experience

Position Description

A teaching assistant in Accounting will maintain tutoring hours in the Accounting department, tutoring students in a variety of accounting related courses. The teaching assistant will also be responsible for assisting professors with grading, developing course material, managing accessibility in Blackboard, and assisting the department and individual faculty members with other projects.
